Christina Lake Sighting

In the early hours of a morning in June 1954, a witness identified as Mrs. De Hart observed an unidentified aerial phenomenon near Christina Lake. While working in her kitchen, she noticed a pink light illuminating her room through a window. Upon investigating, she observed a metallic, hat-shaped craft moving in a southbound direction. The object featured three oval-shaped windows that emitted a bright light, described as having a greenish exterior and a pink interior, reminiscent of the inside of an abalone shell. The witness noted that the craft moved with an undulating motion, with the lights brightening as the object ascended and dimming as it descended. She estimated the craft was approximately 100 feet in altitude and 400 feet away, traveling at a speed of roughly 50 miles per hour. During the sighting, which lasted only a few seconds, she reported hearing a faint sound resembling Chinese chimes whenever the object climbed during its flight. The witness was able to observe the craft's surface, noting lines that appeared to be seams between metal plates. She reported no discomfort from the light's glare during the observation.
