Given the 30 km distance, the author calculates a speed of 600 km/h, noting that the course would have required changes over both locations. Further sightings on April 24 at Västerås (0005 hours, southeast direction) are analyzed in relation to the previous locations, with calculated speeds of 300 km/h and 450 km/h, again requiring course changes. A second set of sightings on April 24 at Karlskrona (0200 hours, south direction) and Landskrona (0220 hours, south direction) suggests a speed of approximately 525 km/h if the sightings represent the same phenomenon. Finally, the author considers the possibility that the same phenomenon was observed in both Västerås and Karlskrona, which would imply a speed of 200 km/h over a 400 km distance.
