The following is a statement obtained from Arthur CREWS, Statement of Arthur CREWS (BD 27 MAR 1886) Melita, Manitoba, 8150 P.M,, 10 OCT 69 Jaoo A.M.l"IT~r~e~tifil fe~e iB !~: f r~ngr u~u~t what the ~emperatur6 was, it was a oooi night. After looking at the temperature, when I turned around, I notioed a light on the window sill and thought it was a oar. I hauled the curtain back and saw this bright light, a little bigger than the moon. It's outline was very sharp, It was still when I saw it, it stayed there only a few minutes and then moved South Bast, then it changed and went North West and out ot sight " WIT1 ORIGINAL SIGNED (GoRo GRATTAN) 2/CST. Melita det. ORIGINAL SIGNED A , CRE\~S 11, At first CREWS wa s not sure of the date only it was less than a month ago, he then remembered his daughter had visited him on the evening ot 5 OCT 69, that very night he saw the objeot, This would place the date of his sighting in the morning of 6 OCT 69. The exact time he does not know, only that between 2 100 and )100 A.M. every morning he gets up to so to the bathroom, CREWS cannot say at what distance the object was, only it was very high in the sky, Very bright and of an 1lluminous nature it cast it's own light, It's color was yellow with a red tinge, very sharply outlined and emitting no sound. Be estimates the objeot was still tor approximately one and took at least two to three minutes to disappear, It was hard to tell it was moving only the fact that there were some tree branches between h1m and the objeo and these were moving across The same weather conditions pertain to CREWS' sighting as 1). The reason CREWS did not mention this before is beoause he is BJ years old and thought that people would only laugh at him. I would consider CREWS as a reliable souroe, CONCLUDED HERE 1 (GoBo GRATTAN) 26829.
