We wore both f eeling fine until we turned on to the Codette Road. This light bad sort of a drawing power. You felt as if you wanted to go to it. I am of s ound mind and fully believe in what I saw. I am a believer in U.F.o.s as I saw another one last summer. This statemant is true to ttl! best of my knowledge. " WIT: CST. H.H. ESSON SGD: t 8:00PM on the 10 JAN 68 and picked up of Carrot River, Bask. \ole drove 2 miles north, mile wes miles north of Carrot River, Sask. We got out there at about car was racing south . I was sitting behind the steering wheel was in the right front seat. We had been out there about 25 minutes when ......... said she had seen a flash-big blue flash, lasting about 2 s econds. I told her it vas probably a falling star or something ~nd she said nothing further. About 3 minutes later I rilliant turquoise blue flash lasting about 1 or 2 seconds. I was . looking out through the frost shield on the window to my left when I saw this light. This flash cover ed about 100 square feet and it would be about 50-100ft. east of my.car and the flash I would say was close to tm ground. I hear d no noise at the time of tm f lash, but I did hear a noise before and after the nash. I turned the windows down after I saw the flash on my side and listened, but I didn't hear anything. About 3 seconds after the first !~before I rolled the window down I saw a third !lash and so didtlllllllll This would be a bout 50-100ft in front of the car. It was the same type of flash as the first flash. This flash moved from the right, to the left and then to the front of my car. The flash was bright and it hurt my eyes. It lit up the windshield like an inverted rainbow. We stay ed around for about 5 minutes longer and then went into town to get cigarettes. I was frightened when we left. got some cigarettes and we returned to t he same spot. I had two bottles of beer to drink and Charlene had one bottle at beer to drink my bouse at about 8:30PM to 9:00PM. When we got back to tbe same spot we parked exactly the same way as before. We got back about 11: 15PI1. We had been back about an~hour or so when I bad to go outside and relieve mysil!. I heard a noise in the bush like a bull moose charging violently t hrough dense bush. I got inside the car, turned t he radio o!f heater and motor to and rolled down my window. For the next ~ t" 5 minutes 1e both heard this same noise and real loud co the east !or about 2 minutes and ther to the west for the s ame amount of time. We thought it some kind of an1mal so it did not frighten us. A 11 ttle later on thought she saw something dark cross the road and then a little on I also thought that I saw something. I turned the lights on quickly but the road was empty. It was as clear as a bell and there was a full moon out. We drove up and we saw animal tracks crossing the road. I bac~ed up to the same spot and we watched again. Around 1:30AI! we saw a light between two tall spruce trees on the west side of t he car. This light was a bright flashing blue color about the size of the light on the police car fender. This light was about 1~ to 2 miles away and it seemed to come closer then (CONT'D ON PAGE FOUR) 0 FROH PAGE THREE) , ,,, .move further away again. t would move in jumps or hops 9.nd would travel in a straight line and would not t ravel very far each time and it changed directions each move. It seemed to be about 2 miles up in the s!q.r. We compared tlti s to the stars and moon and it was much bigger than the stars and brighter. It actually looked ~ ~ ~ like a full moon w1 th a cone snaped taihli th the point broken off. It ~ c ::J also l ooked like it had bluel 1~hi te and red sparks behind the circular part. We watched this for f ve or ten minutes. This light then moved from the west to the south-south-west in hopping movements, It looked like a pendulum swinging towards them and then away. It ~rould look like it was far away and then real close did this at least 4-of 5 times. I started to get scare:hnd said stcicking around to see what it is" a.'ld we left, We drove back to Carrot River. I drove 1'} miles south and l mile east and was just turning south on #23 Hwy. 2 miles north of Carrot River when all of a sudden this light or one looktng 11\te it was right above us slightly. to the rear. I drove into town, Fast, I stopped by the pub- lic school and this same light was above Barney LAMEY'S place which was to the south-south-west of our car and a bout a mile high. It was very bright. 'We watched it for about 3 minutes. We then drove south, turned west on the Codette Road, At the B.A. Station I was very frightened. ri t side of my facei right do~m the middle, became numb. I wanted to drive as I fe t real funny. At this time ........,stated a terrible headache. This feeling then moved ~back of my neck, down my spinal column, right to my hips and then it disappeared. We turned right at the Jehevoh Witness Hall and parked in front o! my house facing south and watched t his light for 10 minutes longer. This would be between 2:00AM and 2115AM this morning. I am not highly excitable but I was in a psychiatric center in Saskatoon, Sask., for 6 - weeks in 1966, OCT':'( NOV, I actually sa1~ this light and it is not my imagination. \ofiT1 CPL. R.A.
