Baldy Hughes was contacted and it was .dfsooered that Ken STEPHENS had contcfed tbe lase on the 6 APR 78 at 8:05 P Cpl. DOIRON and Cpl. PERRIN were workfng at th.e tfe. They advfsed th.at nothing was detected on radar and they checked th.e sky and observed an object whfch. appeared to be a star. 1. J.N HOLY~ oa the 15 APR 78. on the 6 APR 78 at approx. 8:00 R I J~rt~ed at 4278 Hart Hwy Pr1nce George, B.c. fro. the hospital. As I was parking th-Van, I noticed an object ove across the sky fro the East ~o the Southwest. The objtet stopped and appeared to descend. It appeared bluish white in color. After descending, the object's light went out for approx. 15 seconds and then flashtng colored ltght app~ared. The ltghts flashing were red on the ends of th object and orange on the botto. I WI\ viewtng the object with Y naked eye. It appeared to be approx. twtce as high as a sall atrcraft flies. The sky was clear. There were no bursts and when ftrst sighted the ltght was bright but then seeed to dt. After ov1ng across 'the sky, 1t appeared tt.stay fairly s~ttoaary. The object appeared alot bigger star pro~ablJ because of its elevation. No sound or fireballs were ettted. I went tnto the house and told aoe people what I had seen. I then returned outstde and set up a 7 X 50 power telescope. I vtewed the object with the telescope. I saw a dtsc shaped object. It wa~ orang-on the botto wtth flashing red 11thts. on the s1de. It was fatrly stattoaary. I vtewed tt for approx. 1 hour. Whtle I was vtewtng the object, I phoned Baldy Hughes Radar Base and avtaed the of what I was obaerving. I called twtce, the secoad tt .. they stated they could see the object. They apparently knew the people that the horses belonged to. I told the what I had seen so they took e over to the people's restdence.1 I spoke to the people there and looked at the horses an~ Approx. three days later; I attended at the residence at ~tworth wtth ~ geiger couater. 1 had been brtef lesson on tts operation by Dr~ FALkNER. I checked the bare where the horses were located and got what I thought was a sall reading. I then returned to Prince George.
