At approximately 1Q:OO p . m. (P, S . T. ) the oaptiQnally noted reported the sighting of a U. F . O. near Elsa, Y. T. BitiDER advisee that he ~ao ~eturning to Elsa, Y. T. !rom Keno City, Y. T. at approximately 8:40p. m. (P. S.'T. ) in hie vehio1-e and alone and as he passed the Silverspring t~noff he observed a round or oblongivery bright olaar white light with flames and aparke of the same oo ~r. BINDER also saw what ho thought was a red light on top of the U. F . O. whiob grew larger and amaller. BINDER estimated the altitude to be approximately 4000' and was moving in the valley and BINDER estimated U. F . O. to be approx. 10 milea away f rom hie location. BINDER stopped his vahiole and heard no noise what so evor. BINDER advised that the movomonts made by the u.nkno't(n object was vvery fae.t, went up, Q.own, across and in ~traight lines, when it movod lateral~y a bright light oould be seen aoonsiderable distance behind U. F . O. BINDER further advised that ha drove to E~a and advised the following persons of 'same who also viewed this l!. F . O. T. ) 14 JAN 77 at l'layo was -200, wind N'.E . 0 14 knots, also reported no known a~ traffic in vaoinity of area mentioned. Drago KOKANOV, also of Elsa, Y. T. advised that he also saw the U. P . O. described by BINDER. KOKANOV advisee that at approximately, 7:30p. m. (P. S JT, ) 14 JAN 77 he was alone and was driving his vehicle in a tfot-th-East direction at approximately 10 miles N. E, of Stewart , Crossing Y. T. when he observed the unknown ob~ect. KOKANOV' e , dee9riptlon was identical to BilT.DERr with the exception being that when KOKANOV first saw the U. F . O. i~ made the. movements of a big letter t'M" sho.pe. The distance between looati,ona of BINDER and KOKANOV is estimated to be approximately 42 air miles. Both BINDER and KO&ANOV advise that they viewed the unknown object !or approximately 20 minutes before i t distppeared. Both also feel that ~ho U. P . After rounding the curve as I passed the Silver Spring. turnoff, stratght ahead of me in the distance, I noticed a very bright ' white light with a smaller red lieht on top but I kept on driving. The r ed lip~t anneared to grow bip,ger and then smaller, t hen the whole object s eemed to rise up t hen drop again, I thought it might be some kind of belico-pt,er. l stopped the truck and got out to 1 listen bu't I could hear no sounds of a helicopter or plane t here was no sound* wbatover.
