(CST) a Miss Penny waJ.ker (BDt 14 FEB 61) of Wellwood, Manitoba, reported seeing an unidentified flying object. She stated ~hat the object was a bright white light high in the sky moving slowly to the north and had a round shape. Miss WBlker observed this object for approx. five minutes. The condition of the sky that night was cloudy, very few star s , and there was a fUll moon. The locatio~ of the observerat the time of toe sighting was 100 miles west of Winnipeg at Wellwood, Manitoba. Miss Walker is 14 years old and wh~ questione~ about the matter she seemed quite certain that.~t w~s' not a plane or a shooting star. She seemedrational and i~ appeared to me that she honestly thought she had seen an unidentiTied flying object. I feel that she reported the matter genuinely and not as a oax.
