T~ia object baa been seen for the past several weeks and moves as a s~ellar b that is it retains it's position relative to the sun. ~u-laced the position of the obJect as approximately 10 dee,reea wea the sun. Called. Dr. Hynek at Northwestern University. Dr. Hynek suggested that the obJect was probably Venus which has a stellar magnitude of -4 an~ vould be approximately 30 degxeea west of the sun. Weather permi -e";ing Dr. Hynek will try to photograph Venue sometime in the daylight hours of 16 November. Spoke with Owen Hughgates at above number. will not return until after 5 PM. Mr. Mr the UFO office tomorrow, 17 Nov 67. At 1525 hours, r.tr. alled the UFO office and spoke with ~.ajo:-Quintanilla regarding his sighting.
