She stated her loca~ion waa about one and one-halt milea north of the Idaho State Police Port of Entry e.t Beeches Corner when thia large, bright obJect c down her right to about 30 feet oft th& highway nnd then disappeared over a field on her left. It seemed to have many green Md blue lights on it. It is our understandina that the U. S. Air Force baa a compilation of reports on U.F .o. sightiot~a, and it was determ,ned to recontact Mrs. Cook to supplement this report for their information. Contact could not be established with her until 19o8 hours on November 17, 19o'(. What were the weather conditions? The sky was clear; but, or course, it was dark. Were there any other witnesses? I was driving alone at the time and don't know if anyone else observed it. Actually, I guess there weren't any definita lighta, but it glowad bright with color. It seemed bluish-green at the front and reddish-orange to~ards the rear, each color blending into th~ n~xt. Subsequent investigation reveals that all aircraft assi;ned this base were grounded due to a local ground fog. Civil fli ts from the municipal field at Boise, Idaho, were also suspended at this time.
