A report o f a UFO was re?orted to the 19th Bomb Wing Command Post at 0420L, 20 Jul 67. That information was then forwarded to the SDNCO. The eve~ing o f 20 Jul 67, tho observer called the SDNCO at 1950L to cocplete the report again. Tl1e information from both of the ra~orts is in Attachment 1. b. The investigation of this report has been completed for some time but this officer did not forward the report because he did not realize that there had been any press reaction. The newspaper article dated 2.4 Aug 67 directed this officer's attention to the article dated 2 Aug 67. Realizing there had been Hide coverage and recognizing some press interest on the outcome of the Air Force investigation, this report and information is being forwarded for your use as it may be necessary c. Note: To date no comments other than "the incident is under investigation" have b een released.
