No clouds were There v-1ere visible and many stars the weat h e r The obje~t first appeared as one white light and two red ones. Ten minutes late r we viewed it with a 25 or JO power hand- telescope and the UFO \'ra s apparently solid . The lights wer e much brighter than the stars, about like lookin~ into a car headlight from a distance of 200 yards . The edges of the object were like a star at first, then I l ooksi at it through the telescope and they were a little fuzzy but fa ly recognizabl e as solid edges. host of the time while the object was in view it was movin~ a t varying degrees of speed. At first it had one brilliant white :::.:.ght and t~ro d i mmer red ones. Then, after the first couple of sec~nds of watch ing the UFO, I saw it s t arted to t ake off, up and aw from us. Soon after this the red lights disappeared and the w~:~e one stayed, continuing to get brighter and brighter. At no ~1~e did it give off smoke or flames of any sort. After th~ li~-!~.t dimmed do :r. a r;d the object seemed to hover, the light brighta~ed up once a gal.n for the last time . only time ~.Je lost the object was at the end of the it slowl y descended behind so~e houses. At one time the object dropped tow~rd the end of the sighting , b ehind a tree branch, but came into view agai n al~ost imrr:~di;.-c~ly. At no time did it g o in fron t of anything. The object also, at no time, made any sound that could b e dist guishable at thB distance it was from us. I have something detrir:1ental to a.dd t;.J : . . 1.is report and it ls as f'ollo\rs: Three days afte r our s:i ghting was made, I fCJunc1 out f'rom on e of my relatives that her mother-in-law t1ad made a UFO slghtl~3 0n the same night as ours . I immediately ce.lled her up to fin5 out more about her sighting . Her description of her sightin g i s as follows: One of h e r relative s (who wishes to re1nai~1 .s-.r:o:nymous) called her on the phone and. told her she could see 9 U?J if she looked out her front window. She .did this and was attr~cted immediately to two stationary red ligh t s up in the heave~s (she referred to the sky as heavens). Sh e to].d me the lights e~e a lot brighter than stars and they were closer than stars . -:. ~!e said 1 t d.i d n t move at all, 1 t just hovered there. After s . . ~ watched it for a\'rhile, she ~rent into the kitchen for a couple of seconds and when she came bacl{ it ~'las gone. This all happe~ed o n the same night we s at'l our UFO. I als ut from t~i3 same rela.tive that a Mr. Road, Sy:vania, Ohio, t1ad seen a.n object tha. Friday n g w en we saw o~rs that seemed. to be directly tied in wit~1 the object we ss,"'tr ~ I called him on the phone also, and he told me the whole s t: ory Cl He ~1as standing in his yard when he noticed an object c~ enormous size coming in his direction out of tl1e sky. It ~as g:owing and whitish red colored.. It kept com.ing toward hi:r. unt:: all of a sudden it seemed to b e gone . Then he noticed it was~'t gone at all, its lights were just gone. It appeared e.s a s'r~:"i:iOK for alt!hile , then its lights came back on. At this time the object was r ight overhead, about three hundred feet up and. abo~J~ the size of a football fie l d . It hovered for a~1hile the~ toe~: off in a southeasterly direction from where he was. It c li:-.r1csd. at wha t he ~(:ought to be a true 45 angle, up and away. W n it stopped. climbing, he estimated the object to be hoveri~s eirectly ove r do~ntown Toledo. After h e got tired of watchlr.i:. it hover he ~uit watching it and did something else. It see~s 7ery likely to ~e that after he quit watching the object l'fe ca:-.9 .~:..ong and sa.~r it about one mile ~rest of do\'rntown Toledo. From whe~e he ~1as a nd om where we were, our directions would b e r e versed g~d put his object in or near the lace where we first ss~ o s or possi~ly his object. Mr a very convi~ci ~gn a~d I believe his v erbal accoun on what he saw. He s ee!ll.:;:. ;:: : ~{nor,; a g re:3.t deal about modern day aircraft and about t l hts they s~o~ld or should not carry. I'm sorry this renc:.:.~7. ~;:;s .r.ot i n soo~1er than this, but it took me alAihile to pre; rewrite it to the best of my ability. ans11er t o what w'le h ave seen would be e.pprecia ted.
