When ooject was almost airectly south of observer, object turned (u~ to this time, illumination of object dia not increase or decrease in brightness) ana began to fade, probably traveling uirectly south (at tnis time, use of binoculars aiscontinued). Object grauually faded and aisappearea, not to be seen a gain. During entire sighting , object blinked off and on, approxi - mately once every two secor1ds.
