Description of the object(s) observed: (1) Shape-first it was round then heart shaped. (2) Size-approximately 15 feet in diameter. (3) Color -bright red (sparkling). (4) Number -started with one then there were a few (exact number (5) Formation-not applicable. (6) Discernible features -bright then appeared to turn, becoming ak and then back to bright. (5) Cloud cover -none. h. McC1e l 1an AFB Weather Station reported that there were no meteoro- logical weather phenomenon in the area at the time that would cause a mirage or unusual sighting. i. Intercept ion -none. j. Base Operations, McClellan AFB, reported that there was one DC-6 departing at 2400 hours, one C-121 departing at 2324 hours, and one C-121 arriving at 0007 hours. k.
