( 1 ) Ground-visual Q_OMHENTS OF INVZ31IGATI~TG OFFICER Mr indicated she sights d t he object from her car when home at approximat ely 2345 hours. She did not stop at any time to make any further ervations a.s s he was tired and wanted to get to be d . Mrs laimed this object was suspended at an approximat e 45 angle, to 2000 feet in t he distance and she viet-Jed it steadily for about 2 minutes; she lost sight of it whe n her car passs d underneath it. She made i t clear on several occasions that she did not believe in flying saucers, but was curious as to what this sighting could be . She also asked if the Air Force had methods and instruments to investigate such objects. I had to repeat tHo or three times what called her attention to this object and each time the answer was evasive; however, she finally said it was God's will t hat made her look into the sky. She also stated that God cont r olled the objects in t he sky and not man. Summary: I dr ov e do"m the route she traveled; this route has large trees overhanging from both sides of the road and a t one time or anothe r the trees would have definitely obscured he r vision. Further, it i s improbable that she could have maintained trol of her car without 1.-ratching the road. I clo not believe Mrs eeking any publicity but s he did appear ous througho questioning. It is my opinion ~hat Mrs seen a reflection of some sort, and this should not be pur any further. ( 2 ) Night vl, 2 mile s north of OAFB, Palmer St and LRkernount Ave. f.
