At rst the speed was compared with that of an aircra~ but to;.,rards the end of the sighting it suddenly speeded c:f at a very fast rate of speed. Photos were taken of :::e object. Picture # 4 was made at 2 s econds exposure Picture # 5 was made at 4 s econd exposure CCi:t.:.ENTS: The lateral variations in the path match exactly on all four tracks: they are clearly t he images of stars, as the camera was slO\'fly panned past theTJ. The stars are the three "belt" stars of Orion, follo~red by the star Rigel . It seems that was trying to photo- graph something, but s ucceeded only in recording irrel- evant background materi3l.
