There w.s very slow movemAnt ngted by the witnesses. Once the object apn~ared t, stop . The object .:as firs t seen in the SE an1 ~as still there two hours l~ter when the obser- vers went into the st-tien to report the sighting. Altheugh there was considerable air traffic i n the area the duration of the si~hting rules out such an explanation . star, Sirius, , ... a s !.o.-1 on the horizon and frc>m the area should have been quite v i sible.
