Dershei.mer(90th S~:i'i, .~arren AFD, '.~yo:ning) revealed that after his investigation he arrived at the conclusion that a small aircraft was responsible for the sighting. He said tha t he foundfuat there was a small aircraft in a l ong holding pattern over Sidney, Nebraska \'Thich w~s air borne at the time of t.he sighting. He Aae sairl that the airman out in that area on night patrols are seeing all kinds of lights . They need some instruction in the area of identific~tion of objects.
