Description of Object: (1) Cigar- shaped flame (2) Six to 12 feet long; 2 to 4 feet wide. (3) Pale yellow (5) Not applicable (7) The exhaust 'NoaS all the observer saw; he did not see the object itself. b. Description of Course of Object: degree angle, Its bright color silhouetted against a dark, clear sky. \font straight up and then veered at approximately /i-5 continued upward at this angle. Forty-five degree angle. (4) It rose rapidly, went straight up toward the then turned and went south, still climbing. northeast, ( 5) Slowly to the south until lost from view. Location of Observer: (1) Detroit, Hichigan. \Talking east on Quinn Street, then turned south onto Van Dyke Avenue f. Identifying Information on Observer: (l) Mr. age 40 ., Detroit, Mich., senior gov~ent analyst wi ty of Detroit, se extremely intelligent in telephone conversation, said he was formerly employed by Chrysler Missile for six years, with Continental Engineering three years before that.
