It was almost parallel to the moon and a great dis- tance apart but in contr t ! much larger than the moon and glowed very brightly in a 1'ire-like brilliance. seeti t'O move-out hovered in ~ stationary position for several minutes. (Upon seei t I wanted to confirm it by someone else so I awakened my husband who also watched this object with me.) While 'we watched rt, 'the 0 changed shapes, but still appeared in an almost stationar,y position. After about 15 minutes, it appeared to be assuming altitude, moving slowly u ard and at a slight angle in the East.
