OD SatJrdaJ', as I was watching tor satellites, a most sual deuce crossed directly overhead on an easterl'1 course The time was 18:24~G.Ji.T. and two things made it most urmsual t1rst was its speed. . In the So to 80 degrees or aro through hich I observed it, not more then one mitmte elapsed The other was that it blinked ve~ brightly at a rate of about . two per second. It seemed to be invisible apart from itsbl1nk- 1ng. Its brightness seemed to be at least that of a first ~ag n1tude star and when directly overhead, much brighter The color ot the light was about that or a white star I have more then 4,000 hrs flying time, including U.S.A.F. t18bter jet time (F-84G) It is ver7 quiet here and high flying jets are easily heard. There was no sound whatsoever I would ber .Te,%7 r~sted to hear trom you 1r you have any 1ntormat1on oii ~Ms. .. !_have seen many satellites and in my op1n1on this object wa~neither a satellite or antaircraft.
