PHYSICAL EVIDENCE Observ~r reported seeing two lights which appeared to his left then crossed towards his right and reappeared again on his left. Continued in this manner several ttmes, on a definate period. Each light had a taU which was anchored one in the west and one in the north in the directions of Auburn and respectively. Observer states that since the establis ment of beacons at Auburn and Augusta he had seen the lights several times before he realized that the7 were actually ships .from ll..a.rs.
