Description of Course of Object: (1) Coast ward personnel were standing routine \'latch. (2) Object report stationary at 110 degrees from the Coast G.ta.rci. C:.esapeakc Light Ship and 60 degrees above the horizon. Also, Venus h'Ould be visiole from 10 t o 20 degrees above the horizon. Captain Cauley, Uuty Officer, 4500 Air Base i\'ing Command Post, went to tne Langley AFB Control Tower to vie1v the object \vi th binocul a r s . Captain Cauley stated t."l.at tne object l ooked like t..~e "morning star," and 1-.ras certainly an astronom- ical ~ody. 1he iiwestigating officer, for this report, believes the ooject \,as the Planet Venus.
