The object was illuminated in red, yello~, and blue to blue- greeneach color increasing and decreasing in intensity from time tot givL~g th~ objct an appearanc~ o! different co:!.or3 at. different t:i.rnes. It appeared to more to the right o left or move closer. or pull away. Qpserver w3.s able to drive mile~ to a television station, set up a crunara on a tripod, adjust a telephoto lena and s hoot the film whilo che obj~ct r~ined in th~ gener~l lo ion. Sever~l other peopla in tha area had also observed the object. Ubject appaared as th~ ona sighted by man:r peoplo throughout the Southwest last month. It was in the nor~sectlon of the sky and was located at a forty-- five degree angle between land a11d directly overhead. ~he object wa! . illuminated in reqJyellow, and blue to blue-green colors aach color increasing and decreasing in intensit y from time to time giving the object a n appea r ance of different colors a t different times~ There were no sets of color change the object chan~ed c olor8 randoTly. The object would move to the left o~ rig~t:.move closer or pull aw ~hese mo vements were ~lso at random. I was able to drive 1 7 mlles t~ the television station set u p a cemera on a bripod.~adjust a tolophoto :.!i:~a lens (a si::s:-inch lens) and shoot the film whllP-the ob.1ect remai .neci 1n a gener a l location.; I used Eastman tri- x 1 6nnn. film shot at l~8 -fremasper second and forced the film in the proc8sso~ as much as possible. We checked with the Mq~ehead ~lanet ariurn at UNO and found that several other people in t his area had also seen the obJe_9 .A Firing Tram the high altitude .. re3efarch cer.ter i:it Walloo' s Island, Virginia was :J :: ruled out because a check wit h NASA revealed that no such firings have been made.
