Recently, two unidentified flying objects have come to my attention particularly because this area of the country is near uhere the rash of UFO' s trere recently reported in netrspapers across the country. The first sighting v~s on the night or September 16(or possibly the 15, but one of those tHo days) at 7:00 or 8:00 in the evening(again,. some~vhere tvithin those limits). Standing in our side yard, looking up I saw t-rhat at first I thought Has a star. Then I noticed it vas moving totrard the northeast. I ~-latched it a short t:ima, before calling my husbaad to observe trith me. As ~re ~-ratched, it continued about 35 to~rard the horizon uhere I observed a red narrot-t object near it on a course \Those apex collided trith the \rhite object. The red object had an aura or red about it, trhich tollotnid ~-tith it as it coursed to:rard the north~rest horizon tthere it finally ~ras SUbi:'l'3rged in the haze or the sky. Several tL~es ~1e red obj~ct reappeared in the haze before it finally disappear3d altogether. The trhite object also disappeared at tlie northeast ~o~izon~ ihe second incident 't-ras la~ Monday, October 4, 1965. That even:ing at 7:)0, my husband and I aga:in satT the lmite object coursing northeast. In both occurences, ths objects traveled in a straight line(part or a great circle around the earth). To sum up some obvious conclusions and state some njacturas: 1. The objects were too high to be planes, their lights als~ were steady ~-rithout blinking. .. 2. '!he red object Has traveling a~ray from the ~rhite object and thus looked as if it came from it. ). Could this red object be a reenterin~ capsule or information from one of our satilites? Th~t there were t~ro sightings of the sar.1e course seems to clearly Justity that it is a satilite. 'Ihtse~a~my husband's oonjectur~ We would be very interested to know if there is an official record of ths satilite and the "reentaring capsule". Or is there another more plausible explanation? Thank you. Sincerely,
