PURPOSE: Tr~s report is a joint answer by the Photo Processing and Phot o Analysis Divisions to Hark Order 66- 64 from Major H. Quintanilla (TDE'Ii/UFO) who asked for an analysis of UFOs portrayed on three original prints and four original negatives. 2 . ANALYSIS: The UFOs in question cannot be identified beyond the f a c t that they a r e point sources of light. !ne larger, yellow-orange images are considered to be the U.r'Os in question. images ;.rere procably caused by tungsten-type lights, ~rhile the blue- 1-1hi te i mages lrere probably caused by mercury vapor or flourescent-type lights. The irregular-shaped images on eac~ print were caused by poL~t sources of light. Tne movement of the camera through multiple- ures probably caused each point of light to appear as a larger, irregular image. Micro- scopic analysis of ~he original Kodacolor negatives indicates there were between 24 and 30 exposures on each negat.i re. The questionnaire submitted stated 30'' as shutter speed used. It is believed the observer, in expending approxima~ely 30 exposures, may have meant to use 30 i n this sense rather t as 1/30 of a second, or as a 30 second exposure. One image in the upper left quadrant of ~he original print number 3 was noted to have been altered, possibly Hi th a pen. ?EO-:':) A.'
