One is t h e old case of 14 November 1964, made by Dr. and t-.'lo young ladies in Milwaukee, ~visconsin. 'This remains an unknown. The facts as stated in his letter o f 16 November are complete! y unchanged. There is al \'lays a possibility tha t these were birds, but \'le can't find any source o f ref l ected light. fe-." points can be added: after all this tine, Dr. regards this as h aving been " a most unusual s ight". I had him c ount off an imaginary re-enactment of t h e incident and it c~e mor e or less in ten (lO)seconds. During this time the three objects travelled some 160 degrees. Courses were strictly parallel except that one light moved abruptly closer to the one above it midway, and the n continued o n a strictly parallel path. Dr. s~id it was not a brilliant light, \"la S reddish, "had some siz a..11d did not have the pinpoint scintillation o f stars. "If you had not been lookicg , you trould have missed it." The Dr. Martin \'lho \ra s with him never did locate objects. Lights seemed to be emanating frot:1 objects, and trailing edge see med t o h ave a little additional luminosity. Be s n.id they t-rere like three dim night lj ghts \rhizzing across the slcy. Doth the ten-year-o~.d girls sa,., them also . had talked \ri th t h e girls earlier and -.. ) One girl said, "lik e a sandwich plate but small e r than the The other girl said i t looked lik e round balls, "lil~e tennis b alls reflecting light, that got S:taller a.:1d smaller but stayed the same brightness". Observations \'lere made from an alley in back of the h ouse. No lights, other than occasional street lights, no shopping center n earby. TI1e '.tas shining . . Dr ..._.. defi n itely thin_l(s they were not birds, but there is still no conpletely compelling reaso n to rule this out. There was no sound '~at re~. It see~s to ~e that birds f~fty ( 50) to 0ae ~undred ( Ion) f~et above ooservers c ould hav e cau5ed this. C~r'tainl>-, air cra.ft a r e rul~d out bec ause of high speed. That's al l on this report.
