Attention: U F 0 Section Gentlemen: At the suggestion of a gentleman at the Airforce Information Center in New York City, I am writing to you regarding a phenomenon observed by me and five other persons last night (July 31) in the sky above my home in Scarsdale, N. Y. This was at about eleven o'clock in the evening. The object wus shaped like two cones joined a t their bases. flying at about five to ten thousand feet. It appeared to be approximately the size of a large airpl~ne moving through the sky at the same rate and in the same manner as a plane in a northwesterly direction. It w~s all aglow as if made of light. It disappeared from our sight in a few minutes. Besides the six of us who saw this object at the same time, I have n ot found anyone else in this area who also observed I would appreciate any information 1 regard to this phenomenon. you could give me in Thank you. Very truly yours, 30. Have you aver seen this, or a simi lor object before. If ao give date or dot .. ond location. 31. Was anyone else with you at the time you saw the object?
