Straight flight. Appeared to b~ satellite from flight path. ECHO was over Duluth at 820 PM at 83 dgr elevation S of City moving SEo Time error of exactly one hour. Sighting conforms to satellite observation with this exception. Possible error in conversio~o Zebra time. Case considered as insufficient data due t o this discrepancy. ATJC PORM J2? Object was glow- in6 and appeared to climb. In sight .ior two tninutes at which time it had ~oved to 120 dgr azimuth. Color of a illiant orange. 1. COMMENTS Considerable jet and conventionr a/c traffic in area at time of report. F-106's taking off fm Duluth a few miles from sight- ing. Probably one of thase a/c with afterburn9r. Duration con- sistsnt with this ~nalysis Description conforms to balloon sighting, however duration more in line with ~/c sighting. ATtC FOR~ 329 CRP.V 26 SF.P 52) o'lo.\..ltoL.
