BRIEJI SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Single bright star-colored object, elongated, about 3 feet in length with vapor trail above object observed for 30 minutes prior to dawn. Faded with rising of sun. Object at 2 5 d g r elevation in SE. 11. COMMENTS Rpt that Operation Firefly in poogress at Eglin. This operation accounts for the vapor trails. Star Spica just rising in SE Would be dimmed with rising of sup about 3 0 minutes later. However the o bj ect was reported at a ' 2 5 d g r a~evation & this would ten~ to rule out Astro bodies, since n> 1st magnitude objects were in the rptd position. Case evaluated as Operation Firefly effects. TO RUWGAL/ADC Ei~T AFB COLO .. lf:iGH'.J/32AI2DI'J Oi<LAHO!iA CITY AFS o;~LA TnREZ F:!:ET II!
