Color-similar to a star, very bright d. Number-1 e. Formation-N /A f. Discernible Features: Object was traveling on a steady course, seemed to bounce every five seconds. g. Tail or Trail -None observed h. Unusual Features -The object seemed to stop and bounce. 2. Description of Course of Object: a. When I first noticed the UFO at 1935 hours, 26 February 1961 at Capehart Housing, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, azimuth 2950, it seemed to be s1Dpping and bouncing. I observed it for a while to make sure it was not an aircraft. I called Master Sergeant Maloney's children to observe it, while I called Captain Allan E. Aaronson. After talking to Captain Aaronson, I went over to Captain Norman R. Smedes and we observed it. b. Angle or elevation and azimuth of object: Angle -45 and azimuth 295. c. Angle and azimuth of object seemed to disappear on an approxi- mate heading of 60. / d. Description of flight path and maneuvers of object: travP.l e d from west to east. e.
