Too little information to allow valid conclusion. Photo analysts state : object either very small and clos e to camera o r moving rapid.l.y due to their being out of ocu s . Due to objects being much darker than other }lo.a.r.k areas , negative or original print was possibly ret o\lCl:led. In one print, objects size in- c r e a sed, ing they were closer to camera than j.n other pr However other objects in print als o ~creased size, indicating that camera was coved toward bac Als o in this print b a ckground appears sed, but objects are jus t a s dark. A positive identification of the objects whic h appear in these three photo prints is not possible with the l imite d information furnished. 2. It is suggested that the negatives of t hese photographs be obtained from the sources if possible , 3nd also that more d et3ils concerning the conditions under wh i c h the pi cture s were taken be given. Were picture s taken throug h a window glass? Inside a building? Were the inside lights on? Were the y taken from an automobile? 3 . The two photographs dated 26 Sep 60 show three i ma ges which cannot be explained from photo analysis. It is stated i n the l etter dated 29 Sap 6 0 t hat the diamet e r of these ob- J~cts ~s a bout 15 met ers aod tocused oo 1niln1ty. The obJec~s nre out of focus whic h could mean eithe r that they are very small and close t o the c a tner a o r moving v e r y rapidly. I t is possible that e i t h e r the negative or original p r int could ba retou c h e d since th e i n t ensi t y of t l1e dark object s is much gre~ter than the other dark area s on these prints. Tr.e analyst states that the ob.iects are either very small and close tot)Q the camera or mov i n g rapidly duet to their bein:;r out of focus. They ""~lso st.ate that due to tne objec t s bein~ much x darker tha~ the other dark areas, it is possible that the neo:ative o r orirnnal print w~s r etouc-hed. I n one print, the ob5ects size increased, indicatin~ that they we r e closer to the camer a than i n the other print .
