(IN~STIGATINO CENTER OF UNIDEN'Y'IFili!D FLfiNG OBJECTS) ON THE CASE WHICH OCCURRED 7 JULY 19$8. investigating c ttee, after boldinl! five special meetinp.s to consider this case, where all the members were present and after having made all the proper technical i.nvestigationa finds it necessary to make the following remarks a OONSID&tATIONSa 1) That the phenomenon which occurred on the stated date was observed in a vast zone of the Republic which extends trom the Department or Rocha to the Department ot Soriano. The observers indicated some changes in position with respect to this object. 2) That the observers agree that it was a spheric object (except the observation ~ and tamdly which can be found in a different report), autoluminoua, and its path illuminating vast extensions. 3) That there are differences in descriptions concerning siz& and color or the object. .. This investip.ating co~nittee has .arrived at.the following conclusions: 1) That the object seen in various localitiesof the Departments of Rocha, Lavalleja~ Maldonado, Canelones, Montevideo, San Jose and Soriano is the same . (except tor the observation by Mr family). . ~) That this object performed maneuvers which reveal that it was directed by an intelligence. 3) That the C.I.O. V.I. stated publicly by the press (vi thout being disproved) that it was not a natural phenomenon such as a meteorite or a thunderbolt, which were the e~lanations ~iven to the case. 4) That the difference in the appreciation or the size of the object is due to the distance of the observers with respect to the s ~) . That the object changed color (which, according to one ot the most widespread tbeor1e, would be the product of the method used tor ita propulsion, electromagnetism) S.tl/1, C.rdS/8 Rpt Ia IR7lS8 6) That the lulld.noaity which this object emits hae other antecedents in our countey but which ie pheno~non difficult to explain 4ue to ita peculiar charac- teristics. 7) That taldn, into consideration i te luminosity and the sound whieh it some-. . tillea produces, this could be tbe a one w.hich appeared on the afternoon ot the . 8) That the sound as well as something similar to sparks or bubbles which were ellltted on certain paths would be phenomenous produced by a special t7})8 or propulsion which has not been created by man up to this date. 9) Th&t everything which hai been exposed has the characteristics or an unidentified tlyin~ object, therefore it is difficult to determine the type or the unidentified tl)'i~ object although it is similar to the "FFOFIGHTERS" observed ~ the pilots in the second world war. . . MPTit Thepilots or both sides repo~d, after returnifti fl~m tighter and boiuber missions, that strange balls: ot different si1es and colore would accompany thea continuously including when they dived.
