No other identification criteria are consonant with the reported facta of the sighting b. The planet Jupiter, bright and white in color, rose at approximately 2400 hrs on Jl Oct 55, and in the approxi~ate location of the reported sighting. Althou~h the reported shape and size are unusual, for a planet, I believe the SOnRjES are mistaken in their report of these two aspects. The direction of movement (Eas t to West), the rainbow variations in color, and the duration of the sighting all lend cr~dance to the planet rypothesis. c. The obJ~cts did not apprear t o change in ~hape, but appeared alternately cleAr ~nd tr~n blurred. Objects appeared to be station- ary at times; occasionally, the ller object ~as abscured , dre~ing closer t o the larger object, and th~n dropping down to its original position. There was no s ound from tha obje~ts. Obje~ts sometimes, but not always, appeared as the color of fire (yello. orange, red and bJue,) when viewed thrcugh binoculars (7 X 50) several tim~s within each hour of observation.
