Pa. a~ 03/16152 0 , t 55 whP..n hF! sieht.ed an ob.ject to the north. His first impression :('teing .a pilot) was that sorreone had pira - chuted from an aircraft and the parachute ~as a. streamer (did not. inflate). He did not hear or see an aircraft in the vicini;t The shape of the object was si.mil.a.r to a cigar standing on end.. The calor was d 1 white, gray br aluminium. \ ;.SOURCE was facing north, the object ajppeared to be a,Prox 700 above the horizon at an altitude of aprax 40,000 feet and at a distance e stimated t!o be apro~ 40 mile~. The object appeared to be drifting vrl. th the wind l'tith no apparentS rreans of. !~ropul~ion , visible. SOURCE observed this object fo~ aprox 20 minutes as it drifted td \the eouth-. cast at a speed aprox 40 to 50 mph, at w,Mch time the object faded fran sigh\. A srr.all amount of 1'\hat seem to be sm::>ke or gas appeaMd. near the t:e.se of the object momentarily but dissipated verr quickly. . . ., ~ SOUP..cE estimated the size or the UFOB to be as large-as a 5" pencil held at. arms- SOURCE also sighted two (2) very small dark objects adjacent to the large object. One VIas positioned north of the large obj~t and moved slowly to the north until it f aded fran. sight. This obj.ect was obsezved for .a ~riod of aprox 15 minutes. The sncond small object was positioned to the west ~r the .. .J.aree objeet a rrl moved slowly to the west until it, too, faded fran sight. This second object was observed for a riod of aprox 7 to" 8 minutes. SOt.RCE d~scribed these small objects as mere spectrs. The day was clear with a slight surface .1ind.'
