Parkhurst, resident a~.z;ent, Richland, \iashington, on June Sergeant C-ordon Richardson, Kennewick, ~1a.shington Police Dep~ment, advised that for ssveral years he has been Ye~ interested in f'l]irig saucers and has read everything available concerning this to~ic Gordon advised that he h a 3 some intortna.tion lthich he considers to be or ucmo3t importance to t h e d.gf9nse of the United States concerning a flying space ship which he obaer~ed over Kennewick, Washington about a year ago. Richardson stated that he had never told anyone about this matter and had not discussed it with other officers ot the pollee department because they "never pay a'f1'1 attention to ''~hat he says". Gordon prefaced his remarks by stating that he realizes his information sounds like a nut ~om plaint u but a3sures the wr-iter that t)lis is not so Richardson 9tated that the thing he saw has been weighing very heavily on his mind and he believes tha information should be passed on to the Air Force or other inte tad Defense Agency.
