'nte S\U'\ hsd juot set and I \las scanning the a]q, keeping track or air traffic in tho area, when I noticed an elliptical-shaped light that appeared to be 3uspendad in the \OW sky. At first sight, I thought this light 1rl.ght possibly be an unidAntitied flyirll object, then I rt!naoned that it ma.r have bean the sun drawing water. 'l'b1s object gave the appearance or a light shining on a cloud or smoke. It appeared to be apprmd mtel.y the size or a regular envelope hald at arms longth. I observod this lizht through binoculars but could not see any additional det:l.U. I notifigd the ACB!J Squ'.ldron at Iackland AF Ba.3e but they reported nothing on their scopas. ARTC Cer.ter, San Antonio, vas also notit1'3d vith the same results. After watching the light for approximate] five minutes, it suddenly disappeared. . I am firml.y convinced that the light was caused by the rerlection or the GUll on a bight cirrus cloud. I oertit7 that this statement is true and ooi"rect to the beat of RT C.
