He immediately stopped his vehicle and diaounted for a better view. 'Ihe four objects were approaching from the .noini t;y of lteJPOrt, N. J. , .and were flying south in the direction of Sea Bright, M. J. !he objects were described as followsa Each object appeared to be rectangular in shape, approximate~ .3' wide to .3' to 4 aber colored, entirely flat surfaced without concave or convex bulges, without wings, tails or wheels. The objects were g1:ouped together in a fair~ close disorganized formation and appeared to be flJing at an altitude or approximate~ 2,000 feet with an air speed of approximately 75 -100 ailea per hour. !be position of each object in the foroation was constantly changing in a rapid but non-systematic manner, without o. def'inlte patt'3rn. 'lhe objects would eitber acce.L.erate, decelerate, move right or move left Yerr rapidl.7. !he entire formation constantl7 rose and fell in a smooth coordinat- ed 110vent although each object was cons~ntly changing ita position in the folrMtion. The estimated loss and gain or utitude with each up and down IIOYnent waa tel;y 1 000 feet. The air-speed of the gx'Oup was con- stant and appeared not to gain speed ,.nen diving or men climbing. Cable atrinc or towing apparatus was not visible in the sq, nor were there con- . yentional aircraft present in the vicini tr. Yis1bUit7 was fair with at an altitude or approximateq 000 teet.
